ICC Test Rankings: Babar Azam slides from fourth place


Australia had finished the 3-0 test series with white wash against neighbor country New-Zealand away from home.

After Australia’s winning the series International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the latest test ranking in the ongoing week.

As per new ICC test ranking , Pakistan test Captain Babar Azam 's position is slitly slips down from the fourth  postion. Among international bowlers, India's Jasprit Bhamra has held his top position, while Shaheen Afridi has risen to 12th.

The player who contributed to hosts India's victory over England in the fourth Test in Ranchi, India, has set new career highs in the current Men's Player Rankings.

Youngsters Yashvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Dhruv Jorrell scored half-centuries in a five-wicket victory over England, and all three achieved career-best figures in the latest Test Batters Rankings, while Newsy Land veteran Kane Williamson remains the world's top batsman with 893 points. England's Joe Root is third with 799 points, following his 31st Test century in Ranchi. As a result, Pakistan batsman Babar Azam has dropped one spot in the ICC Test batting rankings, from fourth to fifth, with 768 Test points.

It is important to keep in mind that England's Joe Root has climbed to third place after moving up two spots, while Australia's Steve Smith is ranked second in the Test rankings, ahead of New Zealand's Kane Williamson.

India's Ravindra Jadeja continues to hold the top spot among Test all-rounders.
