Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistani captain, played
for the Deccan Chargers in the IPL, scoring 81 runs in 10 games, and for
Peshawar, Karachi, Multan, and Quetta in the Pakistan Super League.
Similarly, Sohail Tanveer played IPL for the Rajasthan Royals and was instrumental in the team's victory; he took 22 wickets in 11 matches and has represented Karachi, Multan, Quetta, and Lahore in the Pakistan Super League.
Former captain Shoaib Malik played for the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL,
scoring 52 runs in seven matches. Malik is the only cricketer who has
participated in the PSL thus far. He is representing the Karachi Kings in this
edition.
Misbah-ul-Haq, a legendary cricketer, played 8 IPL matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore, scoring 117 runs, and also represented Islamabad United in the PSL.
Kamran Akmal played for the 2008 champion Rajasthan Royals, making 128
runs in six matches while representing Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super
League.
Mohammad Hafeez, a former cricketer, has played in the IPL for the Kolkata Knight Riders, scoring 64 runs in nine matches, and has also represented Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League.
Former fast bowler Umar Gul has played for the Kolkata Knight Riders,
taking 12 wickets in six matches, and has also represented Multan and Quetta in
the PSL.
